The oscars is an annual American awards ceremony honouring cinematic achievements in the film industry. The various category winners are awarded a copy of a statuette, officially the Academy Award of Merit, that is better known by its nickname Oscar. The awards, first presented in 1929 at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, this year it was the 87th Academy Awards ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
It is one time of the year where you can see so many fabulous dresses on a red carpet. Here a selection of my favorite looks.

Spring 2015 Haute Couture
Haute Couture is a french name, the catwalks are presented only in Paris. Concept introduced by an englishman Charles Frederick Worth in the mid 1800s.
The strict rules of La Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture were established to determine whether or not a couture label could be deemed as such. In order to meet their criteria, the maison had to ensure several points were followed, including:
- Designs must be hand-made & made-to-order.
- Have a workshop (atelier) based in Paris that employs at least fifteen people.
- Each season, the couture house must present a collection of at least 35 runs with both daytime and evening wear to the Paris press.
Here a selection of my favorite looks from the Haute Couture last week in Paris.

“My painting does not come from the easel. I prefer to tack the unstretched canvas to the hard wall or the floor. I need the resistance of a hard surface. On the floor I am more at ease. I feel nearer, more part of the painting, since this way I can walk around it, work from the four sides and literally be in the painting”

Few weeks ago, I have been to the contemporary art fair SWAB in Barcelona. I have discovered few artists who I really like now. Their work became a source of inspiration. One of them, the South Korean artist Hur Kyung-ae. Below three pictures taken there.
I have done some researches about her and here more of her work.
